From the epic movie we filmed yesterday, Pirates of the Caribbean: Epic Jack Knows Will's Secret Innuendo.
There was one casting change that occurred yesterday before filming, and I will have to update the cover of the DVD, which I will also post when it is finished. Amanda played Will instead of Christina, which actually turned out to be really funny, since Christina made an awesome Norrington and Amanda as Will Turner, well that just needs to be seen to be believed...Here are some of the most epic of all of the epic pictures I took yesterday.

This was while shooting the Rescue/Arrest of Jack..we were working on some blocking here...

When I wasn't in my scenes as Governor Swann, I was usually filming.

A Revelation Over Chocolate Doughnuts

I love kids.

This week, I have had the privilege to work in the Children's Ministry at our church for the Pastor's Conference and I have been blessed. I was allowed to work in the 4-5 year olds, which I was a little nervous about at first. I asked to be placed in the oldest age group, and that was where they put me. I could not have asked for a better group of kids.

At the age of four or five, anything is possible. Kids can pretend to be anything they want; they can be doctors, veterinarians, beauticians, chefs, trees, cats, anything! And the best thing is this: none of the other kids make fun of them for their creativity. They play along. There is no judgment about what they wear or how they look. From Eliza in the light blue to Phoebe in her pink skirt to Josiah in his amazing Spider Man PJ's with matching glasses to Briana wearing the poofy chef's hat. There is such an innocence to this age group, it is truly beautiful. In the hours I spent with them, never did I hear an insult escape anyone's lips, never a crude joke, never coarse language, never did any of them laugh at another's expense. What a blessing these children are.

I had one of the best nights of my life tonight, hanging out with them. After a matter of minutes, I had children holding my hand and sitting in my lap. All you have to do is pay attention to them and they instantly connect with you. It doesn't matter that they are leaving tomorrow; you are here today and willing to play. They want to be best friends with you and the pelican puppet named William that is sitting on your hand, tickling them. What a sweet time I have had these past few days!

I think the best part of it was when the parents would come to pick them up. There were no kids with attitudes. No kid thought of disobeying their parents. As soon as they heard their name from the door, their eyes would light up as they ran to embrace their mother, father, and/or siblings. The parents would scoop them up as they started a tale of everything they had done that night and the parents would look at us workers and just say thank you. Such simple words, but so much appreciation was in the eyes of the parents. Some would go further and express how grateful they were for having a place during the conference where they could drop their kids off and know they would have fun and be loved. It was so amazing to be able to bless all the Pastors and their families in this small way. Just to thank them for what they do year round and for all the blessings they give. Yet I was blessed because they were blessed because their kids were blessed by us who are blessed by the very people we were blessing...I guess it's like John Wimber used to say, "You give to get to give to get to give to get to give..."

Thank you, Pastors of Vineyards across the nation, for sharing your children with me. I loved getting to know them and had a blast hanging out with them and watching them share the love of Jesus with each other. = )

Oh yeah, the title of this blog comes from the fact that I am currently eating those really unhealthy yet mostly tasty chocolate covered mini doughnuts. Yum = )

My thingy that they walked in while i was majorly druggy and said "Breathe in it." And then left me to it. Of course they had to do this during one of the few periods of time where the only person in the room was druggy me. Woot. So when I woke up again, I had no idea what to do... So we took a picture!

The hospital people were nice and gave me my loverly face eating cap and a teddy bear

...And smackin' awesome socks with the grip of doom on the bottom. And because they knew I liked them so much, they gave me a second pair = D

So, I was going to tell an EPIC story about an EPIC time that we all got together to celebrate and EPIC birthday with pictures and everything...but I seem to have lost the file where I kept these EPIC pictures that accompanied my EPIC story so I guess I'll have to save it for later then. Oh well. I did however find this picture in which none of us really looks like any of us...maybe the souls of those Narnians were really being stolen and not ours eh?
